Wendy is a native of Louisiana, where she began her theatre studies and received her degree from Louisiana State University. During college she earned several leading roles in productions such as A Bright Room Called Day (Tony Kushner), Suddenly Last Summer (Tennessee Williams) and Burn This (Lanford Wilson).
After graduating, Wendy moved to New York and continued her actor training at the Maggie Flanigan Studio. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two year old son.
